SUMMARY:Shoe Drive HC Youth Fundraiser
DESCRIPTION:Shoe us the love! Donate gently used or new shoes to help fund HC Youth for the 2028 Youth Gathering and other youth events. HC Youth will receive funds for donated shoes\, which will be shipped to micro-enterprises in developing countries where they help small business owners (many of whom are women) build better lives. The steps we take in collecting shoes have a greater impact by raising funds locally\, keeping shoes out of landfills\, and improving livelihoods in global communities. This new Sunday school class is based on the Evangelist Training Series developed by the Texas LCMS District. Rebekah Rodriguez\, Holy Cross staff\, and Christi Everett\, Outreach Board member\, will lead the class. This will be a 4-month commitment with an in-depth exploration of the topic and an opportunity to develop and launch a faith community among peers. \n  \nQuestions? DESCRIPTION:Mom & Dad: In the hustle and bustle of the holiday season\, take a moment to catch your your breath or to check a few things off your to-do list. HC Youth will babysit potty-trained kids through 6th grade for $30/child\, $50/2 children or $60/3+ children in your family. Your child will enjoy lunch (chicken nuggets\, fruit and chips)\, games\, activities and crafts while having fun with middle school and high school students. We will take kids participating in the Children’s Christmas Program rehearsal to the sanctuary at the appropriate time.
