The Rite of Confirmation

Take a moment to meditate on hymn 865 “Lord, Help Us Ever to Retain” as you remember your own confirmation and walk in faith with Christ. We will recognize 14 youth as they celebrate the Rite of Confirmation this month. If you are unfamiliar with “confirmation,” this is an event when baptized individuals profess their faith and may participate in the act of Holy Communion. Our youth have been involved in a 2-year education program with Pastor Mike. If you are an adult interested in learning the Lutheran faith and practices, contact Pastor Mike to learn more about the next Adult Instruction class.
